Komitas (1869–1935) was an Armenian composer, folklore connoisseur, singer and choir director who became a symbol of Armenian musical culture. Komitas collected folk songs, wrote them down in Armenian notation, composed and sang Armenian songs. They were not only Armenian but also Turkish songs.

Sayat-Nova was the great improviser who lived and worked in the 18th century. He played the kamancheh, an ancient Armenian musical instrument that was also widespread among other peoples of the East. His songs are sung in Armenian, Georgian and Azerbaijani.

Singer is a performer of Armenian canticles in ancient spiritual tradition, participant of international musical festivals in Great Britain, France, China, Denmark, USA
